And it’s pretty quiet here today.  Outside our office, it’s snowing (kinda like in that happy jolly winter scene above) – but without the happy jolly shoppers, sledder and plump snowman.

Art Director, Mitch Nash, isn’t in yet either…although I KNOW he’s working – already had some emails from him this morning….

No one’s in the can either.

So, in the couple of days before Christmas, I want to wish all of our readers a very nice and quiet and lovely little happy holiday.

I’ll leave you with a little love from one of our amazingly prolific designers, Roy Fox.  He sent this card.  But I’m hijacking it for now.

So I was driving down the road yesterday and spied the first inflatable lawn ornament of the season. It was a big honking turkey wearing a pilgrim’s hat. And he looked happy.

I thought to myself, ‘wouldn’t it be funny if there was an inflatable axe-wielding pilgrim in the backyard?’
He’d no doubt look even happier than the turkey.

Vegan or not, don’t forget, Thanksgiving is only weeks away.  And most people around these parts eat Turkey.  Now, I’m actually not a huge fan of turkey.  Seriously.  It’s just white dry bird meat that you have to gravy-ify or cranberry-ify in order to get it down the gullet.  Got any actual decent Thanksgiving Recipes?  Do you???  Please send my way – I gotta bring a side dish over the the in-laws that night.  Preferrably something that includes marshmellows……  Oh, and a friend sent me over this awesome link to vintage Thanksgiving images from the New York Public Library
