So, I read this article in New York Magazine at lunch:  I Love My Children, I Hate My Life

Oy.  Not sure I should “go there”.  But the comment section is quite….I would say, abrasive.

Things like:

DUH!

(I’m sorry, but–duh.)

Is there any way you could make every person in Tribeca read this article?

Sometimes i think my cats were too much of a commitment.

No one will read this b#@%%t except for rich spoiled yuppies.

Oh! And then there were fights too on this comment board like:

@robstumpf You really found it hard to find the right woman?<

Let the childish insults begin!

karen-

“Selfish,” say PC-spewing, knee-jerk, indignant haters?>

I don’t hate anyone. I don’t think selfishness is a good trait.

i have felt many a mutual exchange of love and selflessness without having to bear a brood<

How can you compre the two, if you haven’t had a child?

Listen everyone….I think what you REALLY need is Blue Q’s NEW NEW NEW box of Be A Better Parent Tea.

Here is what it says on the back:

Do you still put your son down for a nap?  Even though he has a full beard and moustache and is soon turning 18?  Do you send your daughter to the store to buy eggs you don’t need and make her carry them back one at a time?  Do you sneak Valium into your toddler’s apple sauce so that she gets all cuddly and quiet and just wants to chill to music all day on the couch?

WE know you’re a great parent.  You just need a moment to regroup.

By the way, you will hear more about our new tea…..just not yet….just had to tell you about this one.

Man, everyone needs to chill.

Out.

And soon.

Ain’t time for the human race to end just yet.  Right?

Tell me I’m right, am I right?
